FS: Avid Juicy 5 F & R hydraulic brakes + extras

Seeling these brakes if anyone, or you know anyone, who may want them....


Recently put some new brakes on the bike, so selling these Avid Juicy 5 hydraulic brakes. Taken off a seven month old bike, so still nice and new.

Complete front an rear set. Front is Post Mount, Rear has the IS Adaptor. Included in the sale are 2 x 160mm rotors (one brand new, the other 7 mths old) including bolts, instructions, and also 2 x pairs of superstar components pads still in box. All fixings included.

Downley Ride - MA, Sssi

Sssi and I did a downley blast today, Unfortunately the 7ft drop off videos didn't come out - so I can only upload the warm up hops ;)

Cannock Chase / Stile Cop

Went up to see Bobby Mac (and Nick) today, rode from Stile Cross (black run / downhill area) over to the Chase and back. Was an awesome ride, with some bone dry trails.

Can't believe the size of the jumps those Midlanders are taking on these days...

cheddar Bikefest

Si and I survived the Cheddar Bikefest yesterday, without any mechanical or falling off :)

Was an awesome day - pretty tough - two massive climbs to start with, flinty and rooty - then a single track decent. Si and I were both chuffed with how the bikes performed!

5hours of 20-25minute laps kept you on your toes. We fitted in 6 laps each, which at race pace, was enough! my legs started to cramp on the last lap (even though i had taken on 1.5l of water, 1.5l of energy drink, 4 gels and an energy bar).

Reckon we should get a few more pairs involved next year - could even do an overnight stay as it is set behind a really camp (static caravan) site.
